Day Two

Workshop: University Nacional Autonoma de Mexico lecture- Women and Art in Mexico: Art as
Resistance and the Examination of Gender Imagery
Activity: Guided tour to the home of Frida Khalo, famed artist and revolutionary women

Day Three
Activity: Private Street Art Tour lead by a local artist to see the hidden gems and masterpieces of Mexico’s street art (mural) scene

Free time to explore the local neighborhoods of La Roma or Condesa neighboring hip districts where art, food and architecture collide

Day Four
Workshop: Secretary of Public Education lecture- Higher Education in Mexico: Class, Race and Access
Workshop: University Nacional Autonoma de Mexico student panel
Activity: Visit to NGO that assists migrants for discussion on the lived experience of those who migrate

Day Five
Free day in Mexico City. Numerous options provided

Day Six
In-country flight to Sayulita Mexico, beach community

Check into Hotel Ysuri Sayulita or similar

Day Seven
Free day on the beach or in town. Options provided
