What does Research Support look like?
Since her first Fulbright award in 2012, Dr. Brown has received federal funding to lead teams of researchers abroad. Today, she and her team, support the planning, writing, management and execution of your research grant to completion, and ensures that compliance is maintained and the project is successful. At each step of the way, grant project leads can be assured that they are supported by an experienced thoughtful approach that listens and produces success.
Dr. Tayler Friar was a recent graduate of her doctorate in Art History, who needed support in applying for a post-doc Fulbright Award. We supported her and she won! Here is what she had to say:
“Dr. Siri Brown and the Global Academics team have been incredible. Their support and expertise truly shaped my Fulbright journey. As the only postdoctoral Fulbright scholar accepted to Turkey this year, I can honestly say their guidance made all the difference. They are professional, kind, and deeply invested in helping scholars succeed. Global Academics is a rare organization that blends excellence with genuine care.”

What is the Equity Rubric?
(developed by Dr. Siri Brown for the Global Inclusion Conference in London)
The rubric includes a tool for assessing 8 key areas for integrating and leading global programs with an equity lens.
In an increasingly interconnected world, the significance of global student programs transcends traditional academic boundaries. These programs not only offer unparalleled opportunities for academic enrichment but also serve as powerful catalysts for personal growth, cultural understanding, and the development of a global mindset. However, the effectiveness and impact of these programs hinge upon the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Recognizing the imperative to create global learning environments that are accessible and enriching for all students, Global Academics Equity Rubric for Global Programs ® aims to evaluate the level of equity in global student/study abroad programs across various essential components. A truly informed perspective goes beyond academic knowledge; it encompasses an understanding of diverse cultures, histories, and perspectives. By infusing equity, diversity, and inclusion into the fabric of these programs, we cultivate informed perspectives that are not only academically enriching but socially, psychologically, and culturally robust.
